About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a reliable and highly skilled Trade Qualified Plumber to join our team in Townsville. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking professional looking to secure a rewarding role in North Queensland.

You will begin on an initial 3-month contract, with a strong potential for ongoing extension or permanent placement for the right candidate who demonstrates excellent workmanship and a great work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general plumbing maintenance, repairs, and new installations.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3500) and local regulations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

What You Need to Succeed (Requirements)

• Qualifications: Certificate III in Plumbing (Trade Qualified).
• Licensing: Current QBCC Plumber's License and Construction White Card.
• Driving: Valid manual driver’s license.
• Experience: Proven post-trade experience in commercial, residential, or maintenance plumbing.
• Fitness for Work: Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment physical assessment as well as a drug and alcohol screen.
